Editorial policy and corrections
How we write, check and correct our lessons and practice questions.
Original content
Every lesson, Korean example and practice question is written for this site. We do not copy textbooks, past papers or official audio. Where official material is useful, we link to it instead.
Review before publication
- An author drafts the lesson or question set, including a written explanation for every answer.
- A qualified Korean language reviewer checks the Korean, the answers and the explanations.
- An editor approves the page, previews it and publishes it.
Drafts made with software tools follow the same process and are never published as reviewed without a named reviewer. Until review is complete, the page shows an "awaiting Korean language review" notice and is kept out of search engine indexes.
Exam facts
Registration dates, fees, locations, eligibility and exam formats change. We only state them after checking the current official notice, we name the country and period they apply to, and we record the date we checked the source. We do not publish speculative exam date or result pages.
Dates and updates
Each lesson shows when it was published. We show an updated date only for substantive changes, not for small edits. Evergreen lessons are reviewed every quarter, and date-sensitive guides are reviewed whenever a new official notice appears. We keep an internal history of every change.
Corrections
If you find a mistake in a lesson, a question, an answer or a translation, please tell us. Include the page address and, for practice sets, the question number.
See the contact page for how to reach us.
We review every correction request. When a correction changes the meaning of a page or the answer to a question, we update the page and, for questions, publish a new version of the practice set. Earlier results keep the version they were scored against.
